I got into crypto in 2016. I was in my 20s and a student with a minimum wage job but I put 10-20% of every paycheck into Bitcoin.

I didn’t really make much at first, but then things went absolutely great in the 2017 bull run. I started trading on my laptop in my dorm room. Studying and working plus trading at the same time was hard, but I managed to pull it off.

Then, in early 2018, with a market-wide crash and zero risk management skills, I lost ~95% of my account. That wasn’t money I had lying around and could afford to lose, so I was absolutely devastated and came very close to giving up.

Luckily, I decided to persevere and started learning, rather than just blindly throwing money into the market. Every day I read about TA, browsed CT, looked at charts and backtested setups.

Slowly but surely, I was starting to understand how to trade.
Along with my skills, my portfolio started to grow as well. In the meantime I started a couple of businesses in the “real world” because I knew college woudn’t be enough and I wanted to invest money in something other than crypto.

By now, I have sold all of them, as I realized that my true calling was in crypto after all – more specifically, in helping others make it just like I did. I know what it’s like to struggle, and there’s nothing more fulfilling than helping new traders become successful.
